And my exercise library grows..

Posted: November 15, 2010 in WORKOUTS & CHALLENGES

If you’ve been reading, you know that I set a goal to try to learn three new exercises each week.  It’s my way of showing that there’s always something new to learn.

Here are this week’s new-to-me three:

1.  Hip taps

2. Reverse Burpee

3. Wall Ball

You can see what Hip Taps and a Reverse Burpee look like in the workout video below. Oh and by the way, the workout is quick, challenging and no equipment is required so I’m thinking you should try the whole thing 🙂  Remember, no excuses, no exceptions – GO FOR IT!!!

The third move, I learned from participating in a workout swap with some great ladies on Twitter @krazy_kris and @workout_nirvana.  I will do a future post on how that went.  But, for now, the wall ball was part of a workout that @krazy_kris put together.  I found this great video which demonstrates the move and explains how to do it.

With that, time for a little tough love –  If you are bored at the gym, it’s really is YOUR fault.  There’s so much you can do to change that.  Invest some time in you and figure out what you like.  It’s YOUR life, YOUR health, and YOUR responsibility to take care of yourself.  No one can do it for you.  Get moving!!

  1. Ah – you are so sweet! I LOVE wall ball – it’s one of those fun little “harder than it looks” moves – after all, how hard could it be? LOL Great vid – thanks for sharing & the kind shoutout!
